Secret Seasonal Spritz


Bourbon Pear Spritzer

Ingredients

Ginger Sage Simple Syrup

  • Equal parts water to sugar (I used 1 cup of each)

  • 5 cubes of frozen ginger

  • 4 - 5 sage leaves

 

Bourbon Pear Spritzer

  • 1 ½ oz bourbon

  • 2 oz fresh pear juice

  • 2 oz ginger ale

  • 1 tbsp ginger sage simple syrup

  • 1 pear & sage leaves (for a garnish)

 

Instructions

Ginger Sage Simple Syrup

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, until simmering. Be sure to continually whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. Once combined and simmering, remove from heat and let it sit for 5-10 mins for the flavors to absorb.

  3. Strain and store in a class jar until you’re ready to use.

 


Pear Bourbon Sage Spritzer

  1. Take a glass filled with ice and mix in bourbon, pear juice, ginger ale, and ginger sage simple syrup.

  2. Serve with a beautiful pear garnish and sprigs of sage.


Spicy Sweet Grinch Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 2-4 finely chopped fresh mint leaves, plus more for serving

  • 2 ounces vodka

  • juice from 1/2 lime juice

  • juice from 1/2 of a small grapefruit

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1-2 jalapeño slices

  • ginger beer for topping

  • pomegranate arils, for serving


Instructions


1. On a shallow plate, combine the sugar and mint. Rim your glass in sugar, then fill with ice.2. Combine the vodka, lime juice, grapefruit juice, honey, and jalapeños in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until combined, about 1 minute. Strain into your prepared glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish as desired. Enjoy!




Christmas Cranberry Margarita

Ingredients

Cranberry Margaritas

  • 2 parts white tequila

  • 1 part frozen cranberries, thawed

  • 1 part rosemary simple syrup, recipe below

  • 1 part lime juice, save one of the squeezed limes for rimming the glasses

  •  Salt, for rimming the glasses


Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 6 small stems of rosemary – about ½ ounce/14 grams


Sugared cranberries and rosemary

  •  Cranberries, 3 per glass

  •  Rosemary, 1 small twig per glass

  •  Rosemary simple syrup

  •  Sugar



Instructions

Christmas Cranberry Margaritas

  1. Pour some salt onto a plate. Run a cut lime around the rim of a glass. Dip the rim into the salt then set the glass aside.Salt

  2. Add the tequila and thawed cranberries to a shaker or 1-liter mason jar. Muddle the cranberries until they have broken down and the tequila is pink. Add the simple syrup and lime juice to the shaker then top with ice. Stir until cold then strain into glasses.2 parts white tequila, 1 part frozen cranberries, 1 part rosemary simple syrup, 1 part lime juice

  3. Garnish with sugared cranberries and rosemary.


Rosemary Simple Syrup

  1. Bring the water, sugar, and rosemary to a boil in a small pot over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool then strain the rosemary from the syrup.2 cups water, 1 cup granulated sugar, 6 small stems of rosemary – about ½ ounce/14 grams

  2. Store the syrup in your fridge for up to 2 weeks.


Sugared cranberries and rosemary

  1. Dip the cranberries and rosemary into some rosemary simple syrup then shake off the excess. Place some sugar in a small bowl then dip the wet cranberries and rosemary into the sugar. Set them aside on a parchment-lined plate to dry.Cranberries, Rosemary, Rosemary simple syrup, Sugar
