Dopamine - we all crave it! Dopamine (per google) plays a vital role in the brain's reward system, motivation, mood, motor control, and cognitive functions like memory and attention. It's that happy feeling, that natural high we search for.

Think about the old McDonald's restaurants... the Wendy's, the Taco Bell. The home decor in the 70's and 80's, the 90's jogging suits... Yeah. What a time!

Now, compare that to today's decor and style... black, white, beige, and taupe.

While others have fully transitioned into modern bleakness, others are rebelling conformity. How? Dopamine Decor.

The vibrant and warm colors, along with "wacky" trinkets, and playful patterns has become quite the trend. These energetic hues are said to have the power to lift your mood, boost motivation, and create an inner calmness. Most know that colors have meaning and can cause us to feel things or even think certain things. It's been used "on us" for quite some time via marketing. Certain colors, whether seeing them or wearing them, can trigger happiness and motivation. We've heard people say wear a certain color to appear powerful or attract abundance...

With so much that can bring us down in this life, it's refreshing to see people using these tools to not impact others' decisions, but to uplift themselves. To create a piece of happiness and joy in their life.

Want to join the rebellion? I've put a few links to cool, fun decor below.
